| Terms of Use Agreement |
This agreement directs the terms and conditions
by which customers of Core Content Media Inc.
(“the Company” or “we” or “our”) can acquire
the rights to use the Content — both original
and reprint articles — which the company provides
through the website Corecontentmedia.com (“the
site”). By selecting the “I Accept” box at
the end of this agreement, an individual,
company or authorized company representative
(“you” or “the client” or “your”) agree to
abide by the provisions.
1: Description of Content
“Content” on this site and in this agreement
refers to articles, quizzes, sidebars, factoids,
timelines, or any other media product created
by or for the Company for sale on the site.
2: Licences
Content can be purchased with one of four
licences: Byline, PLR, Full (or Exclusive)
and Publisher's Pack licences. The type of
licence available is indicated explicitly
in the name of the article and in the long
summary of each Content listing.

Packs are indicated in Section 9 below.)

PLR Licences
If you purchase an article with a non-exclusive,
non-transferable PLR licence, you own the
story and may alter it in any way you like.
You may use it on your website or blog, in
a newspaper, magazine, newsletter, RSS feed,
e-book, promotional brochure or advertising
supplement. You may alter the article to your
liking, or may use the information in it in
a different format such as a text message,
a podcast or streaming audio, or on the radio.
You cannot resell the private label rights
to another party. No other conditions or restrictions
apply.

b) FULL OR EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS Licences
These licences are available on both prewritten
and custom content. Full or exclusive rights
mean that ONLY ONE COPY or LICENCE for an
article is available for sale. The buyer owns
full, exclusive rights to the content and
may use it in any media format. The buyer
cannot resell the article. Articles with full
or exclusive rights will never be resold on
this site.

BYLINE Licences
If you purchase an article with a non-exclusive
BYLINE licence, you must give credit to Core
Content Media in a credit or source line.
Where applicable, you must also retain the
author’s name/byline.
Once you have purchased an article with a
BYLINE licence, you are granted a perpetual,
non-exclusive, non-transferable worldwide
licence to use it with the conditions as outlined
below in this Terms of Use Agreement. Any
uses not listed here are not permitted. You
understand that Core Content Media retains
all copyright and other intellectual property
rights relating to the Content, except in
those circumstances in which copyright or
intellectual property rights are retained
by a third party in agreement with the Company.
If you purchase BYLINE Content you may use
it in your print publication only once, and/or
on your website. If you want to use the article
for more than these two purposes, you must
purchase additional copies for each such use.
3 . Permitted Usage and Circulation of BYLINE
Content
You may use the BYLINE Content purchased from
Core Content Media only once and for the following
purposes only:
(i) On websites or blogs, including consumer,
commercial, informational, educational, not-for-profit
or inspirational.
(ii) In magazines or newspapers with circulations
not exceeding 350,000.
(iii) In newsletters with circulations not
exceeding 350,000, distributed either on the
client’s premises, via mail or by email.
(iv) In corporate, governmental, institutional
or not-for-profit intranets.
You may not use the Content in any media format
or product not outlined here.
4. Permitted Amendments to BYLINE Content
With the purchase of a BYLINE licence, you
are allowed to alter the Content purchased
from this site for only the following reasons:
(i) Content may be altered in spelling and
punctuation to be consistent with the client’s
house style.
(ii) Content may be shortened to fit required
space in a magazine, newspaper, or newsletter,
only so long as facts, attributions and meanings
are not altered or in any way adjusted so
as to misrepresent any information therein.
(iii) Content format may be altered to accommodate
the creation of multiple web pages from a
single article, or to be run as a serial in
a print publication.
(iv) Font, color and type may be altered to
suit the client’s artistic or layout requirements.
(v) Content title or sub-title (hed or dek,
or head or deck) may be changed at client’s
discretion.
(vi) HTML links to other websites within the
Content may be changed and updated (as frequently,
urls do change). Core Content Media is not
responsible for updating links or urls after
sale of Content.
Any use of BYLINE Content purchased from this
site that is not expressly outlined here as
a permitted use or permitted amendment shall
constitute infringement of copyright.
5 . Prohibited Uses of BYLINE Content
You may not under any circumstances use BYLINE
Content purchased from this site in the following:
(i) Advertisements or promotional efforts;
(ii) Books or e-books;
(iii) Brochures or catalogues;
(iv) Commercial web portals.
6 . Reselling
You cannot resell any BYLINE Content the Company
produces under any circumstances.
7 . Extended licences for print media with
circulations exceeding 350,000
If you wish to use our BYLINE Content in a
magazine, newspaper, or newsletter with a
circulation exceeding 350,000, you must buy
an extended rights licence from Core Content
Media. The Company will invoice you and the
fee must be paid on delivery of the content.
8 . Termination of Agreement
This Agreement is effective from date of posting
and with any purchase of Content from this
site. It will be terminated only if you destroy
the BYLINE Content and any copies, and no
longer use the BYLINE Content in any medium
or format. Core Content Media Inc. reserves
the right to terminate the agreement if you
are found at any time to not be complying
with the terms of this agreement. At that
time, you must cease and desist from using
the BYLINE Content and destroy all copies.
9. Terms of Use and Conditions for Publisher's
Packs
• Each pack contains
seven (7) articles for print and web media.
Sometimes articles are packaged with additional
related articles or sidebars, so you may actually
receive more than seven articles.
• Only 70 licences are available. Once licences
are sold out, no more will be made available.
• PUBLISHER'S PACKS are not available to publications
with a circulation higher than 150,000.
• Newspaper chains must acquire a licence
for each of its publications.
• You may edit articles; however, you cannot
change factual information so that errors
are created.
• You understand that all research and information
in each article is correct at the time of
posting for sale.
• You may not under any circumstances sell
articles in our packs to another party.
• Should you decide within 15 days of your
purchase not to publish any of the stories
in the pack at any time, you can notify us
and receive a full refund. Core Content Media
will monitor requests for refunds to ensure
that this policy is not being abused.
• Publication of any of the articles in a
PUBLISHER'S PACK constitutes acceptance of
the pack and you will not be able to receive
a refund. (This does not include the two free
articles available with the introductory offer;
you may publish those if you want to.)
• Core Content Media reserves the right to
make changes to these Terms of Use and conditions
at any time in the future.
GENERAL TERMS
10. Changes & Updates
The Company reserves the right the right to
remove, replace, or update at their discretion
any Content sold on this site. We also reserve
the right to update, amend or change this
Terms of Use Agreement for any reason. The
revised Terms of Use Agreement will be valid
from date of posting and will override any
versions thereof previously posted on the
site and will be applicable to any Content
purchased on or after the date the revised
Terms of Use Agreement is posted. The Company
will continue to honour the rights applicable
under previous Terms of Use Agreement versions
only for purchases made at the time when those
versions were posted and effective.
11. Refunds
Core Content Media Inc. does not offer refunds
on PLR, BYLINE and FULL RIGHTS Content purchases.
Your first security in purchasing Content
that is appropriate for your needs is to read
the long summary accompanying each content
listing. In very rare circumstances a one-time
replacement article may be provided.
Refunds are available for Publisher's Packs
if you decide within 15 days of purchase not
to publish any of the articles (not including
the two free articles available with the introductory
offer; those are yours to keep). Publication
of any of the articles in a Publisher's Pack
constitutes acceptance of the pack and no
refund will be issued.
12. Difficulty with Downloads
Core Content Media Inc. agrees to rectify
any problems a client may experience with
downloading.
13. Privacy
Core Content Media Inc. (and its cart provider,
Netstart eBusiness) collects personal information
purely for the purposes of fulfilling orders,
promotions and responding to individual inquiries
from customers. Under no circumstances will
we sell, distribute or make available your
personal information to a third party unless
you give us your permission to do so, or we
are required to do so by law.
14. Disclaimer
The Content on this site is provided by Core
Content Media Inc. and intended for general
information purposes only. We endeavour to
keep the information up-to-date and correct
and rely on the most up-to-date research available
at the time of creating the Content. However,
we make no representations or warranties of
any kind, express or implied, about the completeness,
accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability
with respect to the site or the information,
products, or services contained on the site
for any purpose. Any reliance you place on
such information is strictly at your own risk.
In no event will we be liable for any loss
or damage including without limitation, indirect
or consequential loss or damage, arising from
or in connection with the use of this website.
Through the Content purchased on this website
you are able to link to other websites which
are not under the control of Core Content
Media Inc. We have no control over the nature,
content and availability of those sites. The
inclusion of any links does not necessarily
imply a recommendation or endorsement of the
views expressed within these sites.
Every effort is made to keep the website running
smoothly. However, Core Content Media Inc.
takes no responsibility for, and will not
be liable for, the website being temporarily
unavailable due to technical issues beyond
our control.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold Core
Content Media Inc., its Content providers
and their respective employees, sources, freelancers,
harmless from and against any and all claims,
liability, losses, damages, costs and expenses
(including any legal fees) incurred as a result
of, or in connection with, any breach by you
or anyone acting on your behalf of any of
the terms of this Agreement.
16. Acknowledgements
(a) You agree and acknowledge that you have
read this Terms of Use Agreement and agree
to be bound by it.
b) Your purchase of any Content from this
site is taken as and understood to be an agreement
to the terms provided herein and your duty
to honour them. Failure to do so may result
in legal action.
